5 Productive Things you can do when you have some extra free time

FullSizeRender (16)

We all love some free time, don’t we?! However, lately, whenever I do have that spare 10 minutes I somehow end up scrolling down my Instagram feed and *puff* time is up. Don’t get me wrong; we all need our downtime for unplugging and dialing down our hyperactive brains. Nevertheless, i feel so much better after i put those little chunks of time to their most productive use. Everyone works differently, so the best use of your free time really depends on you and what’s on your to-do list. But it’s handy to have a list so that you don’t waste time thinking about what to do. Here is mine

4 Productive Things you can do when you have some extra free time

Get Active

Never have time to exercise? 10 minutes is enough to get off some pushups and crunches. Take a walk for some minutes, or do some simple home exercises to boost energy and get relaxed. There is this app called “5 Minute Home Workouts” which is great to get active in no time.

Clear out your Email

I currently have 500 unopened emails. All advertisements or junk. I use my free time to get my email inbox empty. If you’ve got a lot in your inbox, you’ll have to work quickly, and you may not get everything done, but reducing your pile can be a big help. And having an empty inbox is a wonderful feeling.

Print out your digital Pictures

This is my favorite one! I am sure you have over 1000 images on your smartphone like me and some of them are really nice and worth to print out, especially family pictures. Use your spare time to make a quick online order. Shutterfly has 50 4×6 images for free when you sign up and it literally does not take more than 10 minutes.

Clean your makeup brushes

Every morning when i do my makeup i am like ‘darn i should really wash my brushes’ but of course its hectic and i forget about it until the next morning. Now, whenever i have some spare time i clean them with this cleansing spray and voila! I do see a major difference of my skin since doing that.

Sort out your Junk drawer

I don’t know about you, but we have a drawer in our house that is officially the junk drawer ( AKA put everything you don’t know where to put into this drawer). I am sure you also have a niche in your home that is meant for that. What better time to finally just sort it out, then in your extra free time. Trust me you will feel amazing afterward and enjoy your well-deserved glass of wine!

free time

I hope you were able to find something you will do next time you get lucky enough to have some time to kill! Anything you like doing in your free time? Share your input with me!

I also think going through your photo library on your phone and deleting unnecessary pictures is equally so.
