How to get the perfect brow

Hello Ladies,

Hope you had a wonderful week so far. Here in NYC the weather is somewhat bipolar lately, and you never know what kind of weather will hit you in the next 5 min. So i decided to avoid the topic of fashion today, since i am a bit confused myself;)
But nevertheless i have a hot topic to talk about. Today it is all about your eye brows. Lately i have been very into my brows, i think there is nothing worse than eyebrows that are plucked out or overgrown. Eyebrows define the shape of your face and make your eyes look bigger. So as we see they are worth of a lot of attention. You do not want brows as thin as a drawing line but neither do you want a brow that is too bushy or fake, so how do you get the perfect brow?
The key is to have a perfectly shaped brow as naturally as possible.

1. Tweeze

When you remove hairs, be extra careful! A bad brow-tweeze can take much longer to recover from than a bad haircut. Cut too long hair by brushing all of them upwards and cutting the hair that goes over the edge. And when in doubt, put the tweezers down, and go to a beauty parlor. Thicker is always better than thinner, remember that.
2. Shape

  1. The inner edge of your brow should line up with the outside of your nose.
  2. The highest point of your arch should be where the diagonal line extending from the outside of your nose to the outside of your pupil would hit.
  3. The outer edge of your brow should taper off at the point where your eyebrow and the diagonal line from your nose to the outside corner of your eye would intersect.
  4. The bottom of the inner and outer edges of your brow should line up horizontally.

3. Fill in
You do not want it to look fake, too dark or the wrong color. So be careful selecting the tools you need. Brow Lift by charlotte tilbury is a good tool. I find it more natural looking, when i use an eye shadow ( I use Bobbi Brown, color slate ) and fill in my brows with an eye brow pencil. Do not draw long lines when using a pencil, but rather imitate short strokes of hair. The not so obvious gaps, you could sometimes leave empty and just brush it with a powder.

There are many tools to seal your brows so they hold in shape. For example the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow gel. I personally use, some face oil and just dab it slightly on my brows with my finger.

Remember, your eyebrows are not supposed to be picture perfect, just make sure to have them full and nicely shaped. Let me know if you got some more info and tips from this, and what your best eyebrow buddies tools are.

Happy Thursday
Xx- Toby
