Hey Ladies
One week until valentines day and it’s not too soon to plan something special. Why not use this day to do something fun with your significant other and celebrate the relationship you have. Sometimes i think i have to go all out with planning fancy dinners and gifts to impress, however its not about how much you spend rather the thought that goes into it. Last year i made my special chocolate brownies and we literally devoured them with a glass of wine and called it a day. With kids in the house, its even harder to carve out time for each other so use valentines day as an excuse to do something together just to two of you. Here are some ideas
Fun Valentine’s date ideas, that won’t break the bank
Order take out and have a Game night
my husband and i sometimes play rummy together after the kids are in bed and i realized that over a game you can have fun and bond at the same time. Buy some new games that are fun and interactive. And play your heart out in the comfort of your home.
Go to a cooking class
Instead of spending money on a fancy date put a twist on it and cook your dinner yourself. There are many cooking classes that you can check out online depending on where you live. Just make sure to book in advance.
Relax and go to a spa
it doesn’t have to be a fancy 5-star grand spa. Once i took my husband to the place where i do my manicure ( down the block) and treated him to a pedicure with a foot massage. You can sit side by side and chat away while you guys get pampered.
laugh together at a comedy show
Another thing that will have to be booked in advance. But what better way to spend this day laughing together.
Eat at home and then go out for drinks and live music
Last week we had date night and i looked up on google where i can have some live music. I found the coolest bar where they had live jazz music and we both enjoyed it. I do recommend calling first to see if they are full.
I am sure there are more fun ideas out there but those are just a few i like. What are some ideas that you recommend? I would love to hear your ideas!

These are great ideas Toby. My favourite idea is eating at home and then going out for live music.
