My Favorite Ways to Slow Down and Relieve Stress

relieve stress

Hey Ladies

Our lives these days are so busy and hectic, sometimes i really feel like i am on a treadmill and can’t get off. There are so many things we woman balance in our everyday life; work, family, kids, social life etc. At times when i really feel like i need to step back and get a breather, i like to pamper myself. Call me selfish but it’s the only thing i feel that recharges my battery a bit and gives me some emotional boost to get up and do life. I first discovered Rituals  during my trip to Switzerland and instantly got swept away by its indulging and calming store. They give you a complimentary hand scrub and serve you Asian tea. They have the perfect self-care products you will need to relax, reboot and recharge.

Feeling beautiful has a lot to do with how you care about yourself. The first thing i do when i feel overwhelmed, i run a hot bath. I’m really into bath oils and oily sugar scrubs at the moment. I absolutely love the rituals fortune oil which not only will this fill you with happiness, the oil becomes a silky soft foam when it comes into contact with water and will leave your skin beautifully soft and hydrated. As for a Scrub i use the ritual of sakura body scrub which in all honesty has the best aroma ever! It has been specially developed to gently exfoliate and nourish even the driest of skin which is great for the cold seasons. best is to us. But for that effort to actually work being well-rested not only physically and mentally i

Taking care of certain parts of your body can instantly relieve some stress. I personally get cramped up in my hands very often, especially when i spend a lot of time at a computer or writing, my hands cramp and feel tense. I Pay extra attention when its winter season where my skin tends to be rough and dry. A simple hand massage with my favorite handcream makes me calm and relaxed. I currently use the rituals miracle balm and apply it whenever i need a feel good moment. This luxurious hand balm has been specially developed to soothe and soften dry hands.

Making my home a luxury retreat

Home is important when it comes to enjoying time for you; aka me-time. What you keep in your home influences the way you feel when stepping into a room. Surround yourself with things that put your mind at ease, make you feel happy and that will trigger a sense of calm. I love burning some Candles and displaying diffusers that smell heavenly. Swap your basic home items with a luxury item. For example, i bought the Rituals Sakura hand soap and use it as my go to hand wash. That little change makes my home fell more like a retreat.
