3 decorative ideas to elevate your home

Hey ladies

Even if you do not have an architectural design worthy home you could still easily elevate your decor and style and revamp it a little. All it takes is a bit creativity. I have 3 ideas that will give you home an instant decor boost and it does not involve buying expensive furniture or doing any kind or reconstruction. I love redecorating and getting ideas for my home, it makes me feel adult and in control of my space and i get to express my own creativity. Here are my Ideas

Create a Gallery Wall

There is nothing more comforting than pictures, actual pictures you could touch…not Instagram ones.  If you are like me and you have a thousand and one folders on your desktop stuffed with pictures then now is the time to print some of them out and frame them. Mix it up with some artwork and lettering and you will have a Pinterest worthy wall! There are a lot of websites that you could buy all kinds of wall art like Minted.com
My personal favourite artwork and photography are from olivergal.com

Buy some greenery

Having plants around your home will give you a vibrant ambiance. I am not saying you should go ahead and buy a whole greenhouse, however, i do believe that some plants and various succulents will look very sophisticated in your home. Placing them in interesting pots and trays such a marble or cooper will give it a glamourous twist and you could also use them as some blogging/Instagram backdrops.

Paint your walls

A freshly painted wall could go a long way. I myself lately moved and we painted the whole apartment fresh and it became a whole new look. Think of it as a quick facelift. Paint a dark accent wall like the picture on the bottom,  which will put  your room in a whole different perspective. Or if you want to have a little more fun, do a two-tone wall where you do a colorful mid-wall border. This geometric arrangement makes any room feel taller while also framing your furniture.
To paint in general is such a fun experience and you could even turn it into a fun Sunday project.
