Believe it or not but spring just started this week here in NYC. I was wearing my winter coat just a few days ago, that’s how horrid the weather was. For a spring makeup look i aim for a fresh and natural look. I like the pink and nude hues especially for the lips. Most important for me is my skintone. I am generally really white skinned and winter makes me even more pale, so i like to get a nice bronzed glow. Here are my must have Spring Beauty essentials
I start with a tinted moisturizer or a tan oil like this one from Vita Liberata. This new invention with a simple application gives you a subtle tint and some instant color. I use a bronzer, illuminator and most important some blush to get that fresh spring look. Bobbi Brown has the best selection of blushes. I end things with a fresh makeup setting mist.
I always line my lips so things stay in place. Charlotte Tilbury has some really great lipliners, i use the one in “coachella coral”. I am not a fan of lipgloss but sometimes i can’t deny the fact that it gives a really nice touch. Juice beauty has the perfect lip gloss that does not feel like some nasty glue on your lips. The IT girl lipstick is definitely Wander Beauty dual lipstick, that is like 2 lipsticks in 1. They come in the prettiest colors.
I am obsessed with the H&M nail polish selection. They are really great quality and they come in a million shades. I prefer nude and peach colors for spring.
I keep my makeup look simple for the spring with just a dab of light eyeshadow and mascara to complete the look.
