Happy Monday girls it’s one of those days that when i look into the mirror i just cringe. Lack of sleep, no time to eat and lot’s of stress tend to really have an effect on my skin. But here is the good part there are small miracle workers that could make it more or less disappear. Primers are sometimes skipped but in my routine it is the most important part. It preps your skin so your makeup could look flawless. The newest primers do not just smooth skin, keep makeup in place and blur pores, they also brighten, hydrate and do so much more.
Here are some primers specifically designed for your skin issue:
Acne-prone skin like mine as heavy oil excess and tends to be shiny. Look for a mattifying primer that will shield your makeup from looking oily. They even come sometimes with a salicylic acid that fights pimples. Now does that sound awesome?
If your makeup starts peeling away and your skin is flaky than you probably have dry skin. The worst is to put foundation on top of dry skin. Go for a primer oil that will instantly smooth your dry patches and leave you with even skin.
After several late nights and no sunshine your skin might look a bit dull and lack of some glow factor. To bring that back look for light water formulas filled with hydration. A tinted primer is great for the summer days where you do not want to overdo your face with foundation and you want to let you skin breathe a bit. They usually come filled with vitamins and natural extracts.
When applying your primer, do not use a foundation brush which will just use up the primer. Try using either your fingers or a beauty blender. Let your primer sit for a minute before using anything else.
My most used face product these days is the Body Blur from Vita Liberata. A formula for face and body that blurs imperfections and reflects light for HD ready skin. I literally love this new invention and use it everyday to make my skin look like i just had a 2 week vacation at the Bahamas. It has a dark tan tint but when blending it with a beautyblender you will get a perfect glow.
BB properties minimize blemishes, cover imperfections, and smooth skin appearance while reflecting light for a photo-ready skin finish. The natural-looking tint lifts your skin tone, adding radiance and a healthy-looking glow that can be showered off when you choose. Great for use on the face and body, alone or under foundation as the ultimate makeup prep, it delivers a natural-looking, beautiful tan result.
Primers are not high maintenance anymore, they are an important factor in your makeup routine. Do you use primers? what’s your most important thing you are looking for in a primer? Let me hear your thoughts 🙂
Much love girls X
