Beauty Roundup // Favorite Lip balms

Autumn (6)

Hey Ladies

Happy Monday and happy first of february!

I can’t believe that winter season is almost over, not that i mind it but i feel like it was just december not long ago. We did manage to get some snow days and some really nice winter weather here in NYC. Along with the cold comes the dry skin and chapped lips and there is nothing more annoying that having dry skin on your lips and having your lipstick crumble. So i have rounded up my favorite lipbalms that actually really do something rather than just make your lips shiny.

Smith’s Minted Rose

I love this one in particular of it’s peppermint flavor. It is A cult-favorite, multi purpose lip balm that instantly soothes my lips but leaves them feeling ultra fresh.

& Other Stories Lip Balm

The silver tin makes this one of the cute ones. I use this one when i want to do a #nomakeup makeup and just want a bit of glossy lip balm on my lips. Shea Butter and Sweet Almond Oil moisturises and nourishes.

Burt’s Bees Beeswax

From all of the burt’s bees lipbalms i think this one is the most effective one. Beeswax conditions skin, while antioxidant Vitamin E moisturizes. There is a hint of peppermint in it that gives my lips that one-of-a-kind refreshing tingle.

Smith’s Rose and Mandarin

I use this one for traveling since it is in a convenient tube format. It’s enriched with natural rose, mandarin, and exotic spices to deeply nourish and soothe the skin, leaving behind a delicate fragrance. I like the orange taste of it and it lasts for a really long time.

Blistex Medicated Lip Conditioner

Blistex is the first Lip Balm brand i used since i am a little girl. I used to important it from the US since in Switzerland they did not carry it. I love the small packaging and the fact that it it sun protectant. Blistex DCT, helps to prevent and replenish moisture-starved cells that can occur from daily exposure to dry air and other environmental conditions.

L’Oreal Pop Balm

L’oreal Pop Balm is a new tinted lip balm with a formula that contains Jojoba and Shea Butter and promises a full eight hours of hydration. There is not a lot of pigmentation which is fine with me since i use this sometimes over my regular lipstick.

What are your go to lipbalms? Do you suffer from dry lips in the winter season? What are your favorites?

I love your photos, your branding in on point Toby! 🙂 My favorite lip calm as of late is EOS, but I used to LOVE Carmex growing up. We were always on the ski slopes with my Mom, so that was great to help fight the dry weather.

thank you annie, i have been struggling a bit to find my branding lately so it is nice to hear that. I found EOS not helping me so much but carmex sure is a great pick! xx

Love your post. Some really good lip balm choices. I’ve always wanted to try the burts bee balm but never seem to see it in my local drugstore.
