There is somehing about the red carpet glamour that gets me all giddy inside. I am that girl who keeps on refreshing #goldenglobes on Instagram the moment stars hit the spotlight. I get so excited to see who wears what colors, style and hairdo. I take a lot of inspiration from the looks and then try to incorporate it into my own life. Who does not want to feel all glamed up once in a while ( in between those mundane household tasks we all could relate to ) and have a moment of feeling drop dead georgous!
Starting with J. Lo who really got me excited with her head-turning old hollywood glam. I love that she skipped her smokey eye this time and went with a shimmery bright eye shadow which made her look so fresh and glowing.
Her glossy lip has got me going for my gloss these days which i normally do not like, but by her it just looked so lush and pretty.
Amber’s look is perfect for a date night look. That glistening pink-and-red lip you could add after a long day at work to make your face look party ready.
I loved her wavy faux bob too.
Kate Bosworth looks extremely fresh, as if as she took a quick winter walk. She incorporates the less is more effect with her metallic, icy-white eyes combined by soft-pink cheeks and lips.
These eyes…totally got my hypnotized. I love this nude yet very sultry look. I will definitely use more shimmer on my eye lids next time i want to try to look like this 🙂
My absolute favorite look of the night was Olivia Palermos. She exubarates old Hollywood glamour but revisited in a modern new way. Her bright bold lip is very fresh looking and leaving her eyes simple makes the whole look young, sparkly and modern.
Here is how i created her look:
I like to use matte foundations and primer and then built up the glow with highlighters. One of my most used one is the L’oreal Lumi. For the eyes i used Gala Gown from the H&M beauty collection, a very pigmented shadow. I wanted to imitade that pink lip as much as i could and used Revlon color stay in Ultimate Suede.
