Guest Post: All about Red Lipstick – by GabGoesGlam

Hey ladies. Hope your Monday isn’t turning out as bad as mine. I was on my way to dropping of my baby before i go to work in this freezing cold weather, and i ended up walking home 5 min later, since the babysitter flew off to England and forgot to tell me. So i ended up not going to work and staying home with my little munchkin trying to entertain him while i type up my post ( It’s a challenge;)). So ladies here is another fab guest post from GabGoesGlam all about red lipsticks.

Hi Everyone, I am Gabrielle, the blogger behind GabGoesGlam. Although I am new to the blogging community, I have been following beauty blogs and vlogs for years. I wanted to make 2015 my best year yet, and wanted to take this opportunity to document products I discover, and the new and exciting life changes I’m going to make this year to achieve my goal. Part of this journey is changing up my beauty routine. Everyone talks about wearing red lipstick for the holidays – but what about the rest of the winter months? I’ve never been one to break out the bright colors, but in keeping with my idea to shake things up, I decided I should give it a shot. And guess what? I LOVE wearing red lipstick now. So to celebrate my new favorite lip color (and in preparation for Valentine’s Day), I’ve put together a list of some of the best ones I discovered.

I have become arecent convert to NYX’s Soft Matte Lip Cream. They are extremely hard to find in my area, so I’ve had to order them online, but the hunt was worth it. Amsterdam is the perfect red – with undertones of blue – and I can’t find enough occasions to put it on. It is a dry formula, but I find it to be long. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream- Amersterdam- $5.99Capturehiohi
In the holiday GlossyBox I was introduced to the Lip Bar’s Crimson Wonderland. It is the truest red and has the smoothest formula.

Too Faced’s Melted Liquefied Long Wear Lipsticks is another product that I recently tried. Although I find the formula a little drying, I’m obsessed with their Berry color. It isn’t a true red – more of a raspberry really, but it is so unique and perfect for those days when I want to wear something with a more pink. Too Faced Liquified Long Wear Lipstick- Berry- $21

I would love to hear what other red lipsticks you are wearing!
